What is Forrest?
Forrest is an app to help you track your runs and rides in a fun and challenging way.
Why do you need to know my location?
Forrest uses location services so we can track your races and provide you with the most accurate stats and race updates.
What is a ghost racer?
A ghost racer is a virtual opponent for you to race against. You can create a ghost racer that will run or ride at a certain pace or speed, or that will complete your race target in a certain time or distance.
How do I delete a ghost racer?
You can delete an existing ghost racer from the “Create Race” screen. Swipe from right to left on the ghost racer you’d like to delete and tap the “Delete” button.
How do I edit a ghost racer?
You can edit an existing ghost racer from the “Create Race” screen. Swipe from right to left on the ghost racer you’d like to edit and tap the “Edit” button.
How do I race against myself?
After you’ve completed your first race you will be able to compete against the time or distance you set on your next race. You can race against any past race by tapping the “Challenge” button on race details screen.
Forrest also keeps track of the personal best you set for each race distance or time. You can add your personal best as an opponent from the “Create Race” screen.
How do I leave a review?
If you navigate to settings and scroll towards the bottom there are links to leave an App Store review as well as provide feedback directly to the team at Forrest.
I hear I can link my Strava account?
In settings you are able to connect your Strava account so that races recorded in Forrest automatically appear in your Strava feed. Or you can export specific races manually.
Why is my time/distance different on Strava?
When a race is exported Strava performs its own processing on the recorded location data. This can sometimes result in a different total distance or time.
